About This Workshop

The 2026 Flaherty Fellowship provides an immersive 3-day experience for emerging filmmakers and media artists from around the world. Organized by the prestigious Flaherty Film Seminar, this fellowship brings together 15 in-person and 15 online fellows for intensive engagement with cutting-edge documentary and experimental cinema. The program features world premieres, retrospectives, artist talks, and collaborative screenings that challenge conventions and expand the boundaries of moving image work.
